Fort Riley was on lockdown Thursday just after noon, officials reported on social media. Entrances to the post were closed for about 30 minutes around noon, officials said, but they had little detail about the reason for the closure. “Law enforcement is currently working an emergency situation in the vicinity of Custer Hill,” they said in a post on Facebook. “All units and personnel in the area should initiate lockdown procedures until further notice.
