From K-State Athletics MANHATTAN, Kansas – K-State senior center Ayoka Lee will be sidelined for roughly four weeks following an injury to her ankle, the program announced on Friday. Lee suffered the setback during game action last week but was able to continue to play through the issue. A precautionary MRI taken on Thursday revealed a small fracture in the ankle. Successful surgery was conducted on Friday morning and Lee could return to action in roughly four weeks’ time. Emporia, KS – The Manhattan Lady Indians saw its seven-game win streak come to end Thursday night. Emporia, the number five team in 5A, led from start to finish to beat Manhattan 52-41.
