K-State senior DE Jordan Willis has been named to the 2016 Hendricks Award watch list. The award is given to the best defensive end in college football. The Ted Hendricks Award is named in honor of college football’s first three-time first-team All-American. Hendricks attended the University of Miami. Willis joins TCU’s Josh Carraway as the only two defensive ends from the Big 12 named to the watch list. The winner of the 2016 Hendricks Award will be announced on December 7, 2016.

Belleville, Kansas (AP) – Bryan Clauson, considered the top dirt-track racer in the country, has died from injuries suffered in an accident at the Belleville Midget Nationals USAC midget race. He was 27. His death was announced Monday morning at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. A statement from his family was read that said Clauson died Sunday evening and “fought to the end.” Clauson was leading the race Saturday night when he crashed passing lapped traffic. His car rolled and was hit by another competitor. He was airlifted to a hospital in Nebraska, and died surrounded by his family. Clauson was on…

Kansas City (ESPN) – The Kansas City Chiefs and former Los Angeles Rams quarterback Nick Foles have agreed to terms on a contract, sources confirmed Wednesday night to ESPN. The deal will be for one year with a team option for a second season, a source said.
