Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas on Saturday, jumping a school record 13.99m/45-10.75 on the final attempt of the competition. “I knew that my future depended on this day. From K-State K-State pitcher Jordan Wicks adds to his historic freshman season as he was named a 2019 Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball, the publication announced Wednesday. Wicks, the 2019 Big 12 Freshman of the Year, is the ninth Wildcat to be named a Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball and first since Will Brennan and Cameron Thompson did so in 2017.
