    MHS girls bounce back for 5th at McPherson

    The post duo of M.J. Massanet and Darby Price combined for 20 points and 19 rebounds, and the Manhattan High girls beat Beloit 36-24 on Saturday to finish 5th at the Mid-America Classic in McPherson.  The Tribe led 20-12 at halftime and pushed the advantage to 17 points after three quarters.

    The MHS girls are now 10-1 on the season, and along with the boys, will host Topeka West on Friday night.  Tipoff for the doubleheader is at 6:00pm and coverage on KMAN begins at 5:45.
