A large structure fire took place around 1:45 a.m. Saturday morning at 509 South Park Street in Ogden.
Riley County Fire trucks responded and found the double wide mobile home in Lot #1 was ablaze. It had fire showing from the north two bedrooms.
Manhattan Fire Department provided mutual aid along with three other Riley County stations and around 15 volunteer firefighters. No one was home at the time of the fire.
The tenant was listed as Carrie Maldenodo by the owner Kevin Stilley of Manhattan. Stilley estimated the mobile home represented a $5,000-$10,000 loss and contents are estimated at an additional $5,000-$10,000 loss.
The cause of the fire appeared to be an electrical short in the master bedroom. Crews cleared the scene at 5 a.m.
