    Officers filed a report for criminal use of a financial card on Novemeber 26, 2019 at approximately 10:30 AM. Officers listed a 56-year-old female as the victim when she reported a known female used her financial card without her permission. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $516.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for motor vehicle theft in the 1100 block of Westloop Pl. in Manhattan on November 26, 2019 at approximately 11:10 AM. Officers listed a 47-year-old male as the victim when he reproted a known male suspect took his red 1 ton box van. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $10,300.00. The van was later recovered and returned to the owner. Skylar Scheible, 29, of Clay Center, was arrested in connection near the intersection of North 8th St. and Moro in Manhattan. Scheible was arrested on offenses of theft, driving while suspended, and flee or attempt to elude. Scheible was issued a total bond of $8,500.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
