Volunteers, Signups for Furniture Amnesty Day Sought

Signups are underway for volunteers to pick up furniture ahead of Manhattan’s Furniture Amnesty Day on Friday. People looking to donate furniture for the day can sign up before the end of Wednesday to be placed on the list of stops volunteers will be making for pick ups.

The event returns after a hiatus last year, according to Manhattan Fire’s Assistant Chief of Risk Reduction, Ryan Courtright. He says the 2019 amnesty day was a record setter.
