A former Junction City minister has agreed to more than 24 years in jail on sex-related charges involving young boys in his church’s congregation.
Jordan Young (26) appeared Wednesday in Geary County district court for his arraignment before Judge David Platt. According to Assistant Prosecutor Michelle Brown, Young entered into a plea agreement where he entered a plea to one count of Aggravated Criminal Sodomy and four counts of Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a child.
Young has agreed to a sentence of 294 months with lifetime post release supervision when he is released from the Department of Corrections. He will be required to register as sex offender for the remainder of his life.
Official Sentencing is set for January 13th.
