WICHITA, KAN. – A Wichita man has pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography from two 14-year-old girls, which could send him to federal prison for more than 21 years, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said today.

Shane M. McClelland, 26, Wichita, pleaded guilty to two counts of receiving child pornography. In his plea, he admitted that in January 2010 he began communicating via computer and cell phone with two 14-year-old girls in New York. He asked for and received photos of their breasts and genitals via email.

The parties have agreed to recommend a sentence of 262 months (more than 21 years), which takes into account a prior conviction for aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Sentencing is set for Sept. 12.
Grissom commended the Wichita Police Department and Assistant U.S. Attorney Jason Hart for their work on the case.
