Autopsy completed in Fort Riley soldier death

0
By KMAN Staff on January 25, 2012 Local News

An autopsy of a Fort Riley soldier found dead last Thursday at his Manhattan residence has determined the death was from natural causes. The preliminary report states 37 year old Frank Kincaid died of natural causes as a result of internal organ failure. The Riley County police department investigation into the matter is now closed.

In the original report,  Riley County Police responded to the 800 block of Ewing Rd  for a report of an attempted burglary in progress.

Upon arrival officers found no signs of forced entry and attempted to locate the caller, Frank Kincaid . After a search of the residence officers located him inside and discovered he was having medical difficulties.  Kincaid was transported by Riley County EMS to the Mercy Regional Health Center where he later died.
