New information has come forward on the drive-by shooting at 1827 Fairlane that occurred in the early morning hours on New Years Day. The drive-by shooting resulted in the death of Frederick Beverly, 21, of Manhattan.
The location is now being identified as a clubhouse for the motorcycle group “Assassin Street Rydaz”.
The preliminary investigation indicates only one shooter in incident, and the vehicle used was described as a blue, newer model Chevrolet, with 22 inch chrome rims. Riley county police say the vehicle was possibly an Impala, and that the windows were heavily tinted. One of the front corner panels on the suspect vehicle had the number 22 written on the side.
