There’s a new Chair heading the Pottawatomie County Board of Commissioners.
Newly appointed Commission Chair Gary Yenzer will assume the role formerly held by Stan Hartwich. The move was made official during Monday’s meeting in Westmoreland.
While there are a number of projects that will be getting underway in the county in 2012, Yenzer says handling the construction of the new courthouse will be his primary focus as he begins his tenure as chair.
In addition to the courthouse, Yenzer says maintaining roads and bridges will be another top priority.
Yenzer concluded with his overall mission as commission chair, saying quote “I want to keep the county flowing, the way that it has been.”
