    LOCAL SCHOOLS

    Five Rock Creek Mustangs qualified for state by finishing 4th or higher at the 321A Council Grove Regional: 113 Randall Thomas, 120 Marc Riess, 132 Shane Schaake, 138 Sam Wilson, and 170 Trevor Sutton.

    Riley County will have four state representatives: 120 Sawyer Havenstein, 132 Cody Boatman, 170 Josh Brazzle, and 195 Jake Brazzle all finished 4th or higher in their respective weight classes at the 321A Russell Regional.

    One Wamego Red Raider will be taking part in a state bout this week: 132 Kyle Wilson qualified for state by finishing 1st in his weight class at the 4A Chapman Regional.
