During Wednesday’s Manhattan Ogden regular school board meeting, the new principal of Woodrow Wilson was introduced. Deb Naureth will be taking over come the fall semester as principal.

The board also gave their votes on who they wanted to see fill the vacant seat at the table and three people were chosen for the interview portion of the selection.

Patricia Hudgins, Marcia Rozell and Beth Tatarko had the most votes by the board. Hudgins and Tatarko each had 5 and Rozell had 4. Everyone else had 2 or less votes. The exact time and date of the interviews has not yet been decided.

The board, along with the public, was informed that starting from May 25th until August 1st, the meetings would no longer be able to be broadcast because of the construction at the East campus. This means no live or re-broadcast meetings until August.

For more business items, the board passed unanimously all items up for action, including the change order for Bluemont, the three items for Manhattan High School West, the consent agenda, the revision of IIBG computer use, the elementary handbook adoption, summer programs, and staffing for the 2012-2013 school year.

The next regular business meeting will be May 16, 2012.
