For the fourth straight night, K-State blocked double digit balls in a three set-victory. On Thursday night, the Cats battled thru Tulsa 25-19, 25-22, 25-18 against the hosts in the Golden Hurricane Classic. K-State extended their school record-best start to 10-0, as they were led by Kaitlynn Pelger with 11 kills, 12 digs, and five blocks. Kathleen Ludwig added 10 kills, and Alex Muff led the Cats at the net. NCAA kills leader Tyler Henderson was just above her average with 18 kills for Tulsa (7-5).

#19 K-State will clash with #10 Minnesota on Friday afternoon at 4:30pm in the second match of three in Tulsa this week. Last week, the Golden Gophers split a pair of matches at Big 12 favorite Texas. Tune in for the Standard Plumbing, Heating & Air pregame show with Rob Voelker at 4:00 on SportsRadio 1350 KMAN.
