On Sunday, Riley County Police Department were called to the 3100 block of Heritage Lane for a report of a large amount of blood found in a common area of an apartment building.
Very little is known at this current time, but RCPD is currently conducting a full investigation into the matter to include attempting to locate and identify the blood’s cause and source.
There was a street closure as the interchange from Kimball to Seth Child was blocked off.
The Kansas Highway Patrol was also assisting the investigation as a helicopter was circling the vicinity
