A Fort Riley soldier faces rape and other charges following his arrest Wednesday afternoon.
George Ferenz, 28, who had been living in Manhattan, was taken into custody early Wednesday afternoon at Fort Riley.
Riley County Police indicate the charges against Ferenz involve an incident this past Sunday, and include rape, aggravated indecent liberties with a child, aggravated criminal sodomy, and lewd fondling of a child under 14.
Fernez’s bond is set at $100,000 .
