The Rock Creek Mustangs went to the Clay Center wrestling tournament and wrestled very well on Saturday according to Head Coach Dan Pray . Saturday’s meet was the first year Rock Creek had put anyone in the finals of the tournament. Rock Creek had two wrestlers go undefeated in pool play, Juniors Marc Reiss and Jesse Correll. They both looked very well and did a great job against very stiff competition. Reiss won his finals match 10-4 over Norton’s Alec Hager currently ranked in the 3-2-1 A state and Correll took 2nd. The Mustangs travel to Marion County for a dual tournament this Friday to round off the first semester wrestling action.
