KMAN has received word that Anderson Avenue has been shut down near West 60th Street.
At about 6:55 Saturday morning, a report came that a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in that location. It has been confirmed that the incident has led to a fatality.
Anyone traveling from Keats to Manhattan is advised to avoid the area until further notice as the Riley County Police Department has barricades posted at Scenic and Anderson and then at Madison and Anderson.
