    Drug-Related Arrests In Junction City

    The Junction City-Geary County Drug Operations Group, assisted by the Junction City/Geary County SWAT, executed a search warrant Friday at 810 W. 11th Apartment #1, in Junction City. The search warrant was obtained after a month long investigation by the Drug Operations Group into suspected drug activity at the residence.

    Arrested were Michael  and Christine Manahan, 24,  and Ryann Akers, 23, all of Junction City.

    Michael and Chrstine Manahan were each charged with several drug-related charges including Sale of Marijuana within 1000′ of a School and Sale of Narcotic Drugs within 1000′ of a School,

    Ryann S. Akers faces charges of  Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

    All three were confined at the Geary County Detention Center pending his first appearance in the Geary County District Court.

    The Drug Operations Group seized marijuana, narcotic pills, synthetic cannabinoids, currency, drug paraphernalia, electronic equipment, jewelry, a handgun, and a 2006 Audi vehicle.
