A Manhattan Area Technical College student was presented with a grant check by members of PEO, Chapter IW, of Manhattan, on Wednesday at the Manhattan Country Club. Tiffany Lund of Clay Center is close to completion of the Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Support Services with an accounting emphasis.

Lund received the check from IW’s Continuing Education Chair, Cathy Scroggs. Others present for the check presentation were Marilyn Mahan, VP of Instructional Services at MATC , IW President Judy Regehr, and IW Continuing Education committee members Marcia Cooper and Carol Keltner.  Other IW members were in attendance and shared lunch with Lund following the check presentation.

The PEO Program for Continuing Education is a grant program providing financial assistance to women whose education has been interrupted and who find it necessary to return to school to support themselves and/or their families
