JunctionCityPoliceJunction City Police officers were dispatched to a residence early Monday morning for an unresponsive female call, and upon arrival-a subject was found deceased in a bathtub.
Police Officers, along with the Junction City Fire Department and EMS crews, responded to the call on 338 West Walnut Street in Junction City.
Upon further examination, it was discovered the woman received a single gunshot wound-which is believed to be the cause of death.  An autopsy will be conducted Tuesday on the subject, who was identified as Leigh Castle (44).
Castle did reside at the residence where she was found.  No foul play is suspected in the death of Castle, but the investigation is ongoing.
