The Manhattan City Commission discussed the direction for current and future improvements to City Hall and Peace Memorial Auditorium.

As part of its vote to expand City Hall, the Commission will work with the community to fund a war memorial in the foyer of the auditorium and renovations to its stage.

Friends of Peace Memorial Auditorium expressed its desire Tuesday, to assist the City in all fund raising efforts and community outreach.

City staff will coordinate with Bruce McMillan Architects, and Friends of Peace Memorial Auditorium to develop design ideas for the foyer and stage.
