    Riley County Police filed a report for aggravated burglary in the 3300 block of Kensington Court in Manhattan Saturday morning at approximately 8:15 AM. Police found Suzanne Baker had become the victim of this crime when items were removed from her home.
    Officers arrested Daniel Dimond, 39, of Manhattan for the offense of burglary and criminal damage to property. Dimond’s bond was set at $10,000.
     Items taken included jewelry and other household items totaling approximately $2,215 in value.

    An 18-year-old Manhattan man faces a $6,000 bond following his arrest Sunday evening. Paul Meyer was taken into custody at approximately 7:20 PM by officers with the Riley County Police Department on a failure to appear warrant with the original offense of driving while suspended or revoked and speeding.

    An 18-year-old Kansas City, Kansas man was arrested Saturday afternoon for aggravated battery. Jermaine Collins was taken into custody shortly before two p.m..
    Collins’ bond was set at $5,000. The incident was classified as domestic in nature. This physical altercation involved two males with one 18 and one 22 years of age.
    Riley County Police indicate injuries were consistent with a fist fight and not considered life-threatening

    An Alta Vista man faces several charges following his arrest Sunday morning by Riley County Police. Jake Fechner, 37, was arrested at approximately 11:55 AM while at the Riley County Police Department.
    Fechner was arrested on a warrant listing the offenses of burglary, theft, and criminal damage to property. His bond was set at $5,000.
    The warrant stemmed from an incident in the summer of 2011.

    Riley County Police arrested a Manhattan man on a failure to appear in court warrant. Monday’s RCPD activity report indicates 32 year old Justin Emory, 32,  was taken into custody Friday at approximately 4:00 PM while he was at the Riley County Police Department.
    Emory was given a “no bond.”

    Police in Riley County arrested  Emmanuel Dani, 25, of Manhattan while in the 400 block of Walters Drive Saturday afternoon. Dani was arrested on a failure to appear extradition warrant with “no bond” from Lee Summit, Missouri.
    Dani was arrested at about 4:15 PM. Saturday.

    Riley County Police filed a report Sunday evening at about 7:45 regarding theft from a vehicle in the 1400 block of Cambridge Place in Manhattan. Police found Emily Hicks, 20, of Manhattan had become the victim of theft after a diamond ring was taken without her permission from a friend’s vehicle.
    The total estimated loss is approximately $4,000. Police continue to investigate the matter, however, no arrests have been made. Those with information about this crime are asked to contact RCPD directly or submit tips to the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
