    RCPD report 3/22/16

    RCPDReportOfficers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Warrell Spiller, 22, of Manhattan while in the 200 block of Brooklawn Drive on March 21, 2016 at approximately 8:10 AM. Spiller was arrested on a warrant for the offense of probation violation. This warrant originated in Riley County and was for the original offense of criminal damage to property. He was given a bond of $5,000.00 and at the time of this report was confined at the Riley County Jail.


     

    Clayton Smith, 37, of Manhattan was arrested while in the 1500 block of Campus Road on March 21, 2016 at approximately 10:10 AM. Smith was given a bond of $5,000.00 which was listed on a warrant for probation violation (the original offense was listed as being criminal threat and domestic battery). At the time of this report Smith was confined at the Riley County Jail.


     

    The Riley County Police Department arrested Stephanie Bryan, 23, of Manhattan on March 21, 2016 at approximately 10:30 AM while in the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza. Bryan was arrested on a warrant for the offense of failure to appear which held a bond of $20,000.00. The original offense on this warrant was noted at being making false information. At the time of this report Bryan was confined at the Riley County Jail.


     

    Police are investigating a vehicle burglary which occurred between March 19, 2016 and March 21, 2016 in the 500 block of Mustang Drive in Ogden, Kansas. Police were told that a vehicle was entered by an unknown subject with unknown means of entry and several items were removed. These items included an iPad Air 2, a wallet, various books, and an Army ACU back pack (total estimated valued was listed as $1,190.00). Police listed Isaac Weyeneth, 29, of Ogden, Kansas as the victim. If you have information regarding this crime contact RCPD directly or use the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers Service.
