The Manhattan community has lost a priest who was beloved to many.
St. Thomas More Catholic Church posted on Facebook Monday that Father Loren Werth has died.
The St. Thomas More Facebook page wrote “we know he is now rejoicing with our Lord. May he and all the faithfully departed rest in peace.”
The post said funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
