    Thursday’s edition of In Focus featured Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Jason Smith for the hour.

    Smith opened with a discussion of Small Business Saturday and the importance of local businesses to the Manhattan economy as well as the upcoming Festival of Lights in Manhattan. Smith in the second segment provided an update on Scorpion Biological Services’ development plans at Hwy 24 and Excel Road.

    In segment 3, Smith talked about local entrepreneurship and the groundbreaking for MATC’s new facilities. He closed out the show briefly previewing some of the Chamber’s legislative priorities going forward.
