Tuesday’s edition of In Focus featured guests from McCain Auditorium as well as Pawnee Mental Health Services.

The first half of the show, we were joined by McCain Director Todd Holmberg as well as Friends of McCain Board Member and event Co-Chair Julie Keenan and emcee Kinzie Jo Nelson. They discussed the upcoming inaugural Holiday Gala and Auction on Saturday. Tickets and a silent auction are available at McCain.K-State.edu. The trio also discussed the annual Tour of Homes, the very next day on Sunday the 4th.

The latter half of the show, we were joined by Pawnee Executive Director Robbin Cole. She talked International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, this year on Nov. 19, and the importance of awareness and support around the holiday season. The Flint Hills Suicide Prevention Task Force has a candlelight walk planned at 6 p.m. on Dec. 13. Cole also talked Giving Tuesday, and ways the community can support Pawnee’s mission locally.
