A Manhattan man is jailed following a domestic disturbance near the intersection of S. Manhattan Ave. and Fair Lane Wednesday morning.

According to a Riley County Police Department investigation, 18-year-old Darryl Klemick is accused of threatening to shoot a 43-year-old man and prevented him from leaving a residence by standing in front of his car, taking the key and refusing to give it back. Klemick was also found to be in possession of stolen opiate pills and drug paraphernalia.

Klemick is facing eight total charges including criminal threat, possession of stolen property, criminal restraint, criminal deprivation of property, possession of drug paraphernalia and possesion of an opiate, as well as two counts of theft.

He remains jailed on a $61,000 bond.
