Downtown Manhattan Inc is bringing more artwork to the downtown area with the installation of two new art galleries on Poyntz Avenue.

Hnizdil says the 409 Gallery is now open to the public and currently taking submissions from local artists.
Downtown Manhattan Executive Director Gina Snyder says the new galleries fit well with the organization’s overall mission for the community.
The Underground Collective Gallery is not currently open, but Hnizdil anticipates artwork will be installed by the end of next week.
