    Retiree Appreciation Day coming to Fort Riley

    Fort Riley will be hosting military retirees of all services, and their spouses, widows or widower at Retiree Appreciation Day.

    Fort Riley Retirement Services Officer Kevin Walker explains the purpose of this event.

    Many veterans service organizations will also be on available for more information.

    Irwin Army Community Hospital will provide vaccinations from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for influenza, shingles, pneumonia, and tetanus. There will also be Many veterans service organizations will also be on available for more information.

    Doors open at 7:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 8:30 a.m.
