    Manhattan man arrested on warrant for sex crimes

    A Manhattan man was briefly taken into custody Monday after turning himself in to Riley County Police on an outstanding warrant from sex crimes with an underage girl.

    18 year old Tyler Staatz has been charged with rape, aggravated indecent liberties with a child, intercourse with a child between 14 and 16 years in age, indecent liberties with a child between the ages of 14 and 16 and two counts of lewd fondling.

    Staatz was released after posting $75,000 bond.
