The Riley County Clerk’s Office will no longer be selling KDWP Licenses and Permits effective Jul. 1.

This change will also include hunting and fishing licenses as well as boat registrations.

The clerk’s office has decided to no longer sell KDWP licenses so they can focus more on their primary duties according to county clerk Rich Vargo.

Vargo said that the office also processes very few of these licenses as they’re readily availiable on the internet as well as at other locations.

For information on purchasing or renewing a KDWP license, you can visit ksoutdoors.com/License-Permits, stop by the Tuttle Creek State Park office or call their local office at (785) 539-7941.
