    Aggravated assault leads to Tuesday night arrest

    A man was arrested Tuesday night in connection with an aggravated assault that was reported in Manhattan, authorities said.

    Officers filed a report in the incident around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Fort Riley Boulevard.

    Riley County police listed a 61-year-old man as the victim in the case.

    Officials said Robert Darryl Williams, 59, of Manhattan, was arrested at 8:23 p.m. Tuesday and was booked into the Riley County Jail in connection with aggravated assault-use of a deadly weapon.
