Manhattan residents and K-State students returning to town have had their fair share of issues with construction on Anderson Avenue recently.
Shilling Construction began working on concrete repairs on Anderson/Bluemont Avenue between 11th Street and Harris Drive earlier this summer, a project that included shifting lane closures and had an original completion date of Aug. 16.
Interim city manager Jason Hilgers said asphalt shortages at Shilling Construction led to delays.
