    Area football roundup: Frankfort displays offensive explosion in Week 1

    Frankfort football kicked off 2024 on Friday by showcasing its explosiveness offensively as a 44-point second quarter guided the way to a 70-34 victory over Clifton-Clyde.

    The first quarter saw just a narrow 6-0 lead for the Wildcats, but they clawed away with a booming performance in the second quarter.

    Highlighted by four touchdown receptions by senior Lane Loiseau, totaling 180 yards over just the second-quarter scores, Frankfort would hold a 50-22 advantage at the break.
