Former area football star Isiah Childs is flipping sides of the field this fall, making the transition from running back to linebacker for Montana University.
Childs, a Manhattan native and Wamego graduate, originally signed on at Akron out of high school before transferring to the Grizzlies as a redshirt freshman.
Now, as a senior, Childs will line up for the defense, in addition to continuing to be a leader on special teams.
