    Home sales in Manhattan area up slightly

    According to statistics from the Flint Hills Association of Realtors and Wichita State University’s Center for Real Estate, 163 homes sold in Riley, Pottawatomie and Geary counties in August, a 1.9% increase from the 160 homes sold in August 2023.

    It’s also a jump from the 156 sales in July, though it was a drop from the 174 homes sold in June.

    August was the first month this year the number of home sales was higher than the same month in 2023.
