    Manhattan High football demolishes Topeka High

    TOPEKA — Julius Caesar once said, “veni, vidi, vici.” I came, I saw, I conquered.

    Manhattan High football personified the Roman general’s message on Friday night, downing Topeka High 52-0. The Indians have won eight of their last nine against the Trojans who dropped to 4-3 this season.

    The Indians put the game out of reach so quickly that head coach Joe Schartz said it was hard to remember what stood out from the dominant showcasing.
