It may not have the national intrigue some expected before the start of season, but after a blowout win over Houston last week, the struggling Kansas Jayhawks come into the Sunflower Showdown with air danger for a No. 16 Kansas State team who still holds Big 12 title and playoff aspirations.

Kansas is in the midst of a tough season. They’re currently 2-5 with four of their five losses being by one possession. They’re coming off a 42-14 win at home vs. Houston and have confidence coming into the game. K-State has won 15 straight. Since 1991, K-State is 27-5 against Kansas with three of those five losses happening on Ron Prince’s watch.
