    Man’s foot run over in early-morning Bluemont Ave. incident

    A 23-year-old man sustained injuries after his foot was reportedly run over by a known individual driving a silver Ford F-150 early Sunday morning. The incident occurred at about 2:02 AM on December 15, 2024, in the 1000 block of Bluemont Avenue, prompting officers to file charges of aggravated battery and simple battery.

    Authorities have not released further details about the relationship between the victim and the driver or the events leading up to the incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers, where tips can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
