Riley County police on Tuesday reported 11 motor vehicle burglaries in the past 24 hours.

Police believe these burglaries are connected but are still in the early stages of investigating.

Most of the cars the burglars broke into were unlocked, police said.

Items stolen include cash, purses, wallets, sunglasses, and a weapon. Tokoi said the majority of these incidents happened in the northwest side of Manhattan.

So far, police have received leads, including an eyewitness account and Ring doorbell footage.

Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers or call the non-emergency police number at 537-2112.
