    Texas man arrested for sex crimes in Riley County

    A Texas man is behind bars after he was arrested for sex crimes on Thursday.

    Officers arrested 34-year-old Abel Gutierrez Jr., of Laredo, Texas, on a Riley County District Court warrant on charges of aggravated sexual battery on a “physically powerless” victim, aggravated sexual battery by using force or fear, two counts of sexual battery and failure to appear.

    Gutierrez’s bond has been set at $15,500. He remains confined at the time of this report.
