K-State senior center Ayoka Lee will be sidelined for up to two weeks following an injury to her non-surgically repaired foot, the program announced on Tuesday. A return before the NCAA Tournament is expected.
Lee had a minor procedure done on her other foot that was causing her pain. She will return to the K-State lineup in two weeks after the surgical incision is healed and is expected to be fully ready for the NCAA Tournament.
“I made this decision now in order to give myself 7-10 days of practice in preparation for the NCAA Tournament,” stated Lee.
The 2025 Wooden Award Midseason Top-25 recipient, has had a strong 2024-25 season, as she is averaging 15.5 points on a career-best .656 field goal percentage, 6.1 rebounds and 2.2 blocked shots.
In her career, Lee holds the school record and ranks sixth in Big 12 history for points scored with 2,488. She holds also holds the school records for rebounds (1,233), blocks (351) and career field goals made (1,012).
