What happens when you run out of lawyers?
The Riley County Attorney’s office is responsible for prosecuting criminal offenses within the county. This office also handles Child In Need of Care cases and Involuntary Commitments. With many Kansas attorneys nearing retirement, a gap in available legal services has begun to open. Riley County Prosecutor Barry Wilkerson sits down with Mike to discuss the need for new lawyers to fill those spots.
