Wamego’s Peyton Hardenburger pitches in a game against Silver Lake on April 23, 2024.

Wamego softball extended its win streak to five games with a pair of mercy rule wins over Concordia on Tuesday.

The Red Raiders (5-1) are third in 4A East, only trailing 8-1 Baldwin and 13-0 Eudora. Against Concordia, Wamego won 11-0 and 19-1.

In the opener, Tennessee commit Peyton Hardenburger tossed the 15th no-hitter of her career. She struck out 16 batters while allowing just one walk. Offensively, the senior went 1-for-4 with a run scored.
