Officers filed a report for possession of opiates, opium, narcotic or certain stimulants and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Rd. on May 6, 2026 at approximately 9:21 p.m. Brian Havens, 47, of Manhattan was arrested report for possession of opiates, opium, narcotic or certain stimulants and possession of drug paraphernalia as well four Riley County District Court warrants for failure to appear and one Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. The originating charges for the warrants are for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with law enforcement, and criminal trespass. Havens was issued no bond from one of the warrants and remains confined at the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report for possession of opiates, opium, narcotic or certain stimulants, distribution or possession with the intent to distribute controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1200 block of Yuma St. at approximately 3:31 p.m. Joshua Miller, 35, of Manhattan was arrested for possession of opiates, opium, narcotic or certain stimulants, distribution or possession with the intent to distribute controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia. Miller was issued a total bond of $30,000 and remains confined at the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report for aggravated violation of the Kansas Offender Registration Act, Violation of the Kansas Offender Registration Act and perjury in the 3000 block of Tonga St. at approximately 10:49 a.m. Frank Martinez, 60, of Manhattan was arrested for aggravated violation of the Kansas Offender Registration Act, Violation of the Kansas Offender Registration Act and perjury. Martinez was issued a bond of $100,000 and remains confined at the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
