Originally from Lakeland, Florida, Hayes’ hometown is just 40 minutes from Raymond James Stadium, making all three Wildcat selections in 2023 “hometown” picks. Offensive lineman Jalen Klemm entered the portal on Friday, making him the 10th Wildcat to exit the roster since last season, via the portal.
