A Fort Riley man was injured in a Saline County accident Sunday night.  Austin Wright, 18, was driving a 1992 Nissan Pathfinder northbound on Highway 81, five miles north of Salina, when he fell asleep. The vehicle entered the center median, the driver woke up and over corrected, coming back onto Highway 81 but losing control of the vehicle. The vehicle then entered the center median again, overturning and coming to rest on its top. Wright was taken to Salina Regional Health Center. He was wearing a seat belt. The accident was reported by the Kansas Highway Patrol at 10:40 p.m.

At approximately 2:50 a.m. on Saturday, Officers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Jose Luis Guzman Flores, 27, of Manhattan. He was arrested in the 1300 block of Anderson Avenue for Driving Under the Influence. His bond was set at $17,510. Police arrested Corey John Worthington, 43, of Niangua, Mo. at approximately 10:40 p.m. on Friday on three counts of failure to appear. Worthington’s bond was set at $11,000. Jody Dean Hildebrand, 37, of Manhattan was arrested in the 1000 block of Houston around 2:15 p.m. for failure to appear. Her bond was set at $50,000.
